We are happy to announce OSS 3.99c for Linux x86 (v2.4 and v2.6).

What's new?

- Announcing the "Cuckoo Project" - read http://www.opensound.com/cuckoo.html for more information. You can now run ALSA apps on OSS drivers!

- Fixes for Nvidia nForce2 audio and spdif issues

- Fixes for Maudio Revolution 7.1 recording as well as support for Chaintec motherboards with Envy24PT chips

- Installation fixes for Linux 2.4 and Linux 2.6

Works fine under my Linux-Box!
Have you seen my wishes for an ALSA-Layer :P I hope you spend some more time to implement full MIDI support?

Certainly, we plan to support MIDI. We do appreciate if you could test as many alsa audio only apps (if you find them) and report back any issues.
