Which Logitec USB Headset does work with OSS4?

Hi Cesium!

It is a practical question:

Which Logitec USB Headset does work with OSS4?
The one which is possible to purchase now.

There is a driver:

Many users do need Skype.
And they do not want to use Windows for many reasons.

If they could buy a Logitec USB Headset (or other one) which works with OSS4, the problem is solved.
And they could learn OSS4 step by step.

What is your advice?

It might be other USB thing that can be used with Skype.
It should be available on the market.
It should not be very expensive (preferably cheap).
It should be something simple and easy to use with OSS4.

If there is such a practical solution, many users will be very happy.

There was a user which had USB recording on a certain Logitech (and posted for another question), but that info was erased with the forum crash.... grr Maybe I can recorver this.. If soneone was using the old RSS feed, than there's a record...

The idea is very simple: we need a kind of DEMO

This is Skype shop:

You can buy there various Headsets.

One of them (a cheap one) should work with OSS4.

This is what 95% of Ununtu Skype users actually need.

You can make an Ubuntu Live CD (or Live-USB) with OSS4 and Skype installed (+ Adobe Flash and VLC)

DEMO:

1. Plug USB Headset into computer.

2. Boot LiveCD (Ubuntu + OSS4 + Skype)

3. Call where you want.

Such a LiveCD ISO (USB image) might be available for download from the Skype website.
The users can try OSS4 and learn it with Skype.
