adobe air + opensound ? ( on ubuntu 10.04 )

Postby mailmaldi » Mon Jun 07, 2010 9:48 am

Is there a way to make adobe air apps (grooveshark app) work with opensound.

I installed oss using the doc https://help.ubuntu.com/community/OpenSound and everything else works just fine.

But grooveshark app on my machine crashes as soon as I try to play any song.

When I play on a similar setup ubuntu machine ( just without the oss install ), it works fine.

Is there some system setting / adobe air specific change I can do to make this work?

Sorry for all the questions, but I have difficulty finding the grooveshark app...
Can you show the error? Maybe it outputs something to 'dmesg'? Does flash output sound in your machine? What does 'ldd (groveshark's exec)' show? What happens if you set up Pulseaudio per the wiki's instructions? Maybe the app will use Pulse?
