Hi there
Im trying to change my vmix rate from 48000 to 44100 by using "ossmix vmix0-rate 44100" but get- "Control vmix0-rate is write protected"
How can I disable the protection?

You "sudo vmixctl rate" command to change rate.

What would I need to enter in /usr/lib/oss/soundon.user to have it set at 44100 at startup?

"vmixctl rate /dev/dsp 44100" before the "exit 0" line. Run "sudo chmod +x /usr/lib/oss/soundon.user" also so that OSS executes the file.
