I am new to Ubuntu/Linux.
Is the Auzentech X-Fi Forte 7.1 x86 Driver supported on Ubuntu 10.04 AMD x64 using oss3d-linux-x86_64-v5.5.1.tar.gz?
It uses the Creative 20K2 Chipset, not C-Media.

oss3d is an XMMS plugin, not a driver, and is thus card agnostic.
oss-linux package is the one which installs the driver. It supports X-fi, but I'm not sure re: this particular revision.
