I'm choosing a soundcard to buy with good support in Linux (OSSv4 is preffered).
Is any chance to get Asus Xonar DS (AV66) working with OSS?

At the moment, OSS supports the Xonar D1/DX, D2/D2X and STX (basic). The driver doesn't have support for the DS.
It's definitely possible to add it, but will take a bit of work: The main impediment to adding Xonar cards support is adding DAC support to oss_cmi878x. The DS uses Wolfson 8776/8766 DACs, and the driver will have to be taught how to handle these.
