I'm using a Sony VAIO VPCEE31FX with openSuSE, OSS4.
I have sound working, but this laptop has HDMI and I dont have volume control either. Seems like sound is just "enabled" yet no controls to it. What about HDMI controls?

If your ossxmix does not work, you may get a special one here:

Can you paste the output of 'ossinfo -v3' and of 'ossmix -a'?
