Hi,
Every time that I restart my Ubuntu 10.04 32 bits, it shows this error in boot messages:
- Code: Select all
* Starting Open Sound System: opendir: No such file or directory
What's the problem?
Regards.

Hmm..
It's from either ossdetect or ossdevlinks utils. I suspect one of them can't opendir("/dev") for some reason. Can you narrow down which one is outputting this (you can run them manually: "sudo ossdetect/ossdevlinks -v")?
