OSS works randomly with oss_hdaudio0 Creative Labs XFi XTrem

If I run : ossplay a_sound.wav many times, it produces sound one time in three/four (randomly).
The same with osstest

In dmesg there is some errors but rarely (not for every ossplay or osstest execution) :

Now try this:
A) Edit /usr/lib/oss/conf/osscore.conf and add the line "vmix_no_autoattach=1".
B) Restart OSS with "sudo soundoff && sudo soundon"
C) Run "sudo vmixctl attach -M /dev/dsp /dev/dsp_in"

And test again. Does this issue still appear?

Well, I guess we'll have to experiment. What happens if you disable vmix (as explained above) and reattach it using both '-M' and '-r' flags?

Nothing changes. Still the same problem - sometimes all works perfectly, sometimes no sound at all. Even without vmix. Hope there is a way to fix it, i realy don't want to use alsa again.

Oh, so your problem is different from the other user... Can you paste here output of 'ossinfo -v3', 'ossmix -a' and 'lspci -vnn'?
