oss_cmi878x supports AK4396 DAC?

Specifically, the DAC present on the Claro Halo. There is very low volume, virtually no sound from any of the line outs. Everything enabled in ossmix, volumes all set to 100:100. oss_cmi878x is loading properly, PCI card properly detected. Narrowing dow the issue to oss_cmi878x support for the AK4396 DAC. Is the said converter supported in 4.2_2005?

And in the event the Calro Halo w/ AK4396 DAC is not supported, what of the Xonar ST (PCI) and the PCM1792A*1 DAC? Is it safe to assume that STX support (w/ same DAC) extends to the ST?
