I see this cpu with fpu sse2 fxsr, so why oss_fp_check failed?

I think fxsr_opt is different from fxsr? Anyhow, You can build OSS with --config-vmix=FIXEDPOINT to override this though.

But N36L does have fxsr, see my cpuinfo..
I've try using fixed point mixer, but maybe because of my usb sound card, or the fixed point mixer, the performance of oss is not so good as alsa.

mplayer goes mute from time to time.
