Acer Aspire 1640Z. I have this http://www.4front-tech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=708 problem in FreeBSD 6.1 Release.

you need to boot the system without ACPI and see if that fixes the problem. We just announced new version of the HD audio drivers for FreeBSD 6.1 and kindly download it and report success or failure.
