Hi,

Can you try OSS v4.0 from http://www.opensound.com/test?

Uninstall the current 3.99.4b version by typing /usr/lib/oss/scripts/uninstall.sh and then pkg_add oss-freebsd-v4.0-173-i386.pkg.tbz and see if it works after that.
