FreeBSD6(i386): soundconf-SEGFAULT with several soundcards

Postby Guest » Wed Aug 10, 2005 7:06 pm

Hi,

i have tryed to remove a card with soundconf. When i enter the remove-button, soundconf crashes. It also crashes by changing the order of the recorder card list, or by manual configuration.

My devices.cfg:

Code: Select all
# Use soundconf to edit this file.
/SECUREAUDIO OFF
/PCIIRQ 9
/IRQEXCLUDE 3 4
/DMAEXCLUDE 2
-PCI011113f6 #CMedia CM8738
CMPCI ON
-PCI60031013 #Crystal CS4280 PCI
CS4280 ON
#NEEDS_MMPCI
-PCId6321412 #M Audio Delta 66
ENVY24 ON

If you need a coredump or other information...

Try to configure one card at a time and then see what is the offending device.

Hi dev,

Thanks for your quick answer.

I dont know how configure only one card. After the installation all cards are present in soundconf and i can't remove a card. I tryed to disable a card in etc/devices.cfg, but it doesn't work.

I try to go in the manuel configuration and mark a card. When i press enter, i become a message "Can't remove this device". oss isn't running at this time...
