Can you send us the soundon.log from your machine?

We have tested RealTek and CMI codecs and it works just fine.

I wonder what it would take to get this working on a Sony VAIO FS-570. It recognizing but no sound. Looks like the driver suffers from that IRQ16 bug...

Can you download OSS 3.99.4b for FreeBSD 6-1 and see if it works on the IBM z60?. We have made some modifications but we don't have your exact hardware combination so any reports of success or failure would be appreciated.

I tested OSS 3.99.4b on ThinkPad z60t/FreeBSD6.
There is no error message but no sound is heard when running osstest.
And there is no sound with headsets too...
