mixing/piping output to input

I'm trying to use an application called webcamstudio to broadcast videos to livestream. I'm having trouble getting the audio to work. There's a few tutorials, but they're all for Pulse:

I guess what they all basically come down to is redirecting or mixing the sound output with the sound input, so that Livestream can "hear," the sound coming into the microphone device. Is there anyway to do that sort of thing with OSS?

Yes, it can be done. I can think of two methods:

1) See this for OSS-only method. Problem is I don't see where someone selects an audio source in webcamstudio... Maybe I missed it?

2) See this for how to get Pulseaudio to work with OSS4. Once you have configured it to work, the Pulse-based methods you saw earlier should work.

Thanks for the reply. I'll have to play around and see which of these work. There's nothing in WCS to select an audio source. I think it's supposed to redirect its audio to the microphone device(?). You can select the source in Livestream's webcast thing, which is a Flash application. The only option there is "Linux Microphone."
