Is there a way to setup vchans with oss so that sound can be used with multiple apps at the same time?

OSS automatically configures the virtual mixer - the only thing you need to do is to configure each application to use a different /dev/dsp device - OSS doesn't do automatic device allocation (it works in Linux and SOlaris but not in BSD). You need to type cat /dev/sndstat and see which device the first virtual mixer is on and then run your first app on that device, then run the next app on the next device

How do i make it use SB Live 5.1 output device by default?
does anyone know any quirks or tweak for better sb live output?
