OSS 3.9.8e trouble

Postby ZOleg » Thu Apr 08, 2004 5:53 pm

Hi!!!
I use FreeBSD 5.2.1 and OSS 3.9.8e with my SB Audigy.
All ok, but little problem - howto control Tone volume (Bass and Treble) in mixer?

With best regards
ZOleg.

Use /usr/lib/oss/ossxmix - there is a 4 band RIAA curve equalizer there.

Hi!
Thanks for answer!
I know about ossxmix.
But....
Howto control Tone in other mixer apps, for exampe KMix from KDE or
gnome-mixer from Gnome 2.6 ?
I use both, and I would like to use native mixer apps.

Best regards

You would have to write updates to KDE Mixer and other apps.
The SBLive uses "OSS Mixer Extensions" that is going to be
documented in OSS v4.0 - right now we're still in development
phase and don't want to publish anything until the interfaces
are stable and can be properly documented.
