Hello.

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to configuring a sound card in Solaris.

I have downloaded the file, installed it and got sound working from 1 sound output on my laptop. Now I wonder how to make the speakers work. How do I enable speakers? Please, let me know what info to provide. Thank you in advance.

Generally speakers are connected to some speciailized circuits and so we need to see what has been configured by OSS. Post the log file from /usr/lib/oss/logs and we'll see what can be done.

Hi,

You are using OSS 4.0rc2 (build 173) - can you download the latest OSS 4.0rc2 Build 177?. There are some changes to the HDAudio codec handling.
