soundon, huh?

Postby Tomservo » Sun Jun 17, 2007 12:39 pm

What does soundon do? Having stripped the S89oss/K89oss scripts from /etc/rc3.d, it shouldn't be executed. When I manually run soundon, it tells me that some modules are already loaded and seems to exit with code 1.

If it's all about loading possible mixer and other settings, that's OK. But the exit code 1 prevents me from turning this into a proper SMF service.

Thanks.

Actually, I found the issue. It was with my manifest. Still the exit code 1 is kind of eh.
